Lengthy letter by the Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Weintraub, the Rosh Yeshiva of Beit Yosef and the Rav of Karlin, to Rabbi Yosef Shuv of Vaad Hayeshivas of Vilna. 1927.
The letter mainly deals with means to obtain funds for the holy yeshiva and clothing for its students: "whatever you send will be good".
At the beginning of the letter, he recalls the vain attempts to appoint the great Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Michl Rabinovich, the author of the Afikei Yam, as Rav of the city.
